“Mehendi to build hope and smile”

“Giving is Living and Sharing is Caring”, Rotaract Club Of Ratnanagar organised a event called “Mehendi to build hope and smile” with the slogan

“Festival for All” on 22nd July,2017.

In this event we shared the happening festival of Shrawan that is Mehendi in all the innocent tiny bright hands of the poor needy orphans of “Ktaketighar” of Sauraha. “Ktaketighar” of sauraha, chitwan is an orphanage home where the very backward community orphan children of Nepal called “Chepang” is brought and gives them food, shelther, accommodation and study up to grade 10.

Rotaract Club of Ratnanagar initiated this event in which, the students of Balkumari College, BHM 6TH Batch collected the one day food money from 66 students and donated them 25 dozens of copies and 25 packets of pen to the orphans of that orphanage home. Not only this, Rotaract Club and them some sweets and took their pain and gave them a hope that there are we for them in their needy time. After this event one of the representatives of the orphanage home appreciated us and the event and told us that it really build hope and created a smile in them and Ms. Usha Neupane(Representative of Balkumari Collge BHM6TH BATCH) promised to help again in near future to them. There were altogether 20 Rotaractors, 5 Rotarians , 20 orphans and 5 guests.

The event was chaired by Rtr.Binod Khatiwada Rotaract President 2017-18, Chief Guest was Rtn.Bishnu Sharma Rotary President 2017-18 and the event coorionator is Rtr. Rabin Basnet Secretary 2017-18.
